Chief Scientist
Elham Alipour
Elham is the Chief Scientist at Charli AI, a leading Intelligent Content Services Platform provider that is driving the transformation of human decision-making. Its suite of products helps businesses accelerate growth, dramatically reduce costs, streamline operations, and enable employees to focus on high value activities that have real and recognizable impacts on the business.
She is responsible for driving the company’s AI strategy, aligning technology with business objectives, and delivering impactful AI solutions to enhance user experience. With a diverse background in both academia and industry, Elham possesses a deep understanding of the latest AI advancements and is committed to translating her knowledge into practical applications.
Prior to joining Charli AI, Elham served as a Staff Data Scientist at GE Digital, a subsidiary of General Electric focusing on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). In this role, she led a diverse team of data scientists and software developers to develop two major products. She also worked as an Optimization Researcher for 1QB Information Technologies (1QBit), a Vancouver-based company that works to solve industry’s most demanding computational challenges using quantum computing technology.
As a passionate advocate for women in STEM, Elham has made a significant impact through her leadership in organizing and executing events and workshops aimed at empowering women to pursue careers in science and technology. She previously served as the head of GE’s women’s network hub in Vancouver.
Elham holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and a B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology.
Vice President, Finance & Operations
Chris Scott
Chris is the VP, Finance and Operations at Charli AI, a leading Intelligent content services platform provider that is driving the transformation of human decision-making. Its suite of products helps businesses accelerate growth, dramatically reduce costs, streamline operations, and enable employees to focus on high value activities that have real and recognizable impacts on the business.
Chris is responsible for all financial operations of the company, leveraging 15 years of progressive finance experience. His focus is on building tech start-up companies into robust financial organizations by playing a leadership role in fundraising and working directly with investors and the board. Chris also focuses on building policies, processes and teams that will scale with the organization and will meet the requirements of any due diligence process.
Prior to joining Charli AI, Chris held Assistant Controllership, Controllership, and Director of Finance roles in technology development companies, including Bit Stew Systems where Chris worked alongside the rest of the Charli AI leadership team. He played a key role in preparing for the M&A and the financial integration of Bit Stew Systems and GE Digital.
Chris received his CPA (CA) designation in 2011 while articling with KPMG. He also earned his MSc from the University of British Columbia in Molecular Biology, having successfully defended his thesis on the Utilization of Lentiviral Transport for Gene Silencing Therapy in Prostate Cancer Cells.

Aron Graham
Aron Graham is the VP of Software Engineering at Charli AI, a leading Intelligent Content Services Platform provider that is driving the transformation of human decision-making. Its suite of products helps businesses accelerate growth, dramatically reduce costs, streamline operations, and enable employees to focus on high value activities that have real and recognizable impacts on the business.
Aron’s skills have allowed Charli AI to stay ahead of its competition and innovate rather than follow old patterns.Aron has a multi-faceted 26-year career spanning numerous disciplines, from Business Analyst to Network Operations, Software Design to System Integration. His experience includes expertise in developing complex product and brand strategies required to operate large scale enterprise projects and deliver high productivity solutions to end users. From this, he has gained an exceptional ability to understand end-user needs and translate them into practical user experiences that enhance the human-to-machine relationship.
Aron joined the team at Charli AI on day one. When Kevin Collins first tabled the concept of using AI to develop a platform that “supercharges how humans work”, it made complete sense.
Aron had worked at GE Digital and Bit Stew Systems alongside the same group of highly motivated, passionate experts for the past decade who collectively had an exceptional track record of success, delivering exceptional, industry-leading products.

Kevin Collins
Kevin Collins is Founder and CEO of Charli AI, a leading Intelligent Content Services Platform provider that is driving the transformation of human decision-making. Its suite of products helps businesses accelerate growth, dramatically reduce costs, streamline operations, and enable employees to focus on high value activities that have real and recognizable impacts on the business.
Kevin has more than 30 years of experience and extensive knowledge in artificial intelligence and machine learning, both as an entrepreneur and a corporate executive. At Charli AI, he oversees a team of expert scientists that are pushing the boundaries of innovation in the AI-driven intelligent content management space.
Before founding Charli AI, Kevin was CEO and Co-Founder at Bit Stew Systems, a data intelligence platform, which was acquired by GE Digital for its AI and ML capabilities in 2016. Prior to his time in Silicon Valley, Kevin worked in the high-tech networking and security field, and led technology firms specializing in cryptography, public key infrastructures and high-performance and scalable networks. As a serial entrepreneur, Kevin is passionate about sharing his expertise in building and growing successful startups.

Joel Emery
Joel Emery is the Chief Product Officer at Charli AI, a leading Intelligent Content Services Platform provider that is driving the transformation of human decision-making. Its suite of products helps businesses accelerate growth, dramatically reduce costs, streamline operations, and enable employees to focus on high value activities that have real and recognizable impacts on the business.
Joel leads the product strategy at Charli AI, playing a significant role in building the company’s offerings. He leverages close to 30 years of experience in the software industry as well as in networking, mobile, cloud computing, data integration and artificial intelligence.
He has built significant international experience while holding senior management roles in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
In recent years, Joel’s primary focus was on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). and digital transformation. He has held executive leadership positions including VP and GM of IoT Business, and Head of Engineering at GE Digital. Joel was also VP of Cloud Products at Wind River as well as professional services General Manager for the EMEA region, where he drove business in all market verticals including Industrial, Aerospace & Defense, Mobile, Automotive, Networking and Digital Home.
Joel earned his B. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, at the University of applied Science in Fribourg, Switzerland.

Jett Winter is a seasoned start-up executive with key strengths in Strategic Business Development,
Business Strategy and Fundraising/M&A. With deep experiences in enterprise software, data analytics,

Joanne Hemstead
Joanne is the VP, Service Delivery at Charli AI, a decision intelligence platform that is accelerating the time-to-value and helping analysts discover new financial insights with Multidimensional AI. Charli’s suite of products helps businesses accelerate growth, dramatically reduce costs, and enable employees to focus on high value activities that have real and recognizable impacts on the business.
Joanne is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of service delivery at Charli AI. With a focus on a positive customer experience and a commitment to provide value to our customers, she leads a team of Delivery Managers and Delivery Specialists who enable our customers in reaching their business goals in business optimization and insight generation. Joanne is a collaborative leader focused on building high-performing teams who understand client needs and delivers results.
Prior to joining Charli AI, Joanne built a successful career in service delivery and most recently as VP, Implementation and Professional Services at Fatigue Science. Joanne has led highly complex on-premise enterprise software implementations in the industrial sector with companies such as GE, Bit Stew Systems and Canfor. And, under the intense scrutiny of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2010, delivered technology solutions to press and broadcasters responsible for bringing the Olympics to the world.
